The main aim is to promote the active involvement of 40 young people of 2 marzes of the Republic of Armenia in volunteer work both with local, national and with international levels.

    • To increase the level of knowledge about volunteerism amongst youth and the development and significance of volunteering and importance of gender equality in the work place.
    • To develop skills and knowledge as well as to provide resources to engage more volunteers from regions.
    • To break gender stereotypes existing in our communities.
    • To increase the self-worth and self–efficacy of the volunteers by creating new community leaders and promoting the voluntary work not only on community but also on regional, national and global level.
    • To increase the number of volunteers in each region and the effectiveness of these volunteer projects.
    • To help the volunteers understand that it is important to feel comfortable in one’s own skin, not to support gender stereotypes in the workplace and that gender does not define the person or the type of leader that the volunteers can become.
    • To empower the volunteers to be actively engaged in local regional projects.

Results:

1. The project has increased the level of knowledge about volunteerism among the youth and the development and significance of volunteering and importance of gender equality in the workplace.
