Seminar: From The Big Screen To The Real Life

About the project:

Youth meeting “From the big screen to the real life” was organized In Kavadarci, Macedonia from 25th October 2013 to 2nd November 2013. It gathered 24 young people from 8 countries – Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Poland and Bulgaria. Host organization was Council for Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency (SPPMD). During 7 days youth meeting participants gained knowledge about human rights, discussed situation in their countries and special focus was put on the violation of human rights of marginalized groups. Participants were educated how to use creative methods like video production for the promotion of human rights and visibility of human rights violations. Participants produced short movies about human rights during this meeting. At the end of a film festival was organized in local cinema where all the movies were presented to local population.
